Appartamento attico con vista sulla spiaggia a Cottesloe- No.12

Loved the location but wouldnt stay in apartment #12 again due to the screeching night noise. Positive: The location was brilliant for us. we crossed the road to swim at cotts beach. walked and biked north and south. We loved sitting on the balcony having dinner and watching the sunsets. Walk to train station was just 10-15 mins away, supermarket 10 mins away. great coffee over the road. Imogen was very responsive and fixed blown bulb in the downstairs bathroom. Negative: It was noisey at night. One night we had a storm so that noise was an exception and while it sounded like the roof had blown off and creaked and screeched. But even when it was calm there was screeching rattling noise all night - everynight. Noises would echo in the outside stairwell. music playing in another apartment kept us awake. i didnt like that there was no door on the shower - it went straight into the main bedroom so noise came through the external fans. the skylight was like perspex placed in a big hole so gave no noise block. The apartment was definitely ageing - stains in carpet, marks. We didnt use the BBQ as it was filthy. We didnt sleep well any of the 8 nights we were there. The carparking is very very tight and we were unable to park in our spot as someone else parked over our line and we couldnt fit so we parked on the roadside. Be aware that there is no elevator and steps - didnt bother us, but may bother some.

Lovely place , restful stay, very sad to leave the gorgeous view ! Positive: Very comfortable and well equipped,brilliant location with fabulous views over the beach and ocean. The owner was very helpful and friendly and responded immediately to any queries. Negative: Nothing
